We conducted a combination of primary and secondary research.
We spoke to a couple of female activists who talked about their struggles fighting for their causes, and how a platform like the one we were proposing would have helped them.
We also conducted a survey to better gauge people’s awareness of the League. We learned that from those who know of the League, a large percent are under the impression that it caters exclusively to women.
In secondary (desk) research, we did a comparative analysis, to see how other organizations such as “Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund” and “Rock The Vote” interacted with their constituents, and what their social media presence was.
An examination of the League’s current website highlighted a few main points:
- Despite having a lot of information on the site, it’s hard to understand exactly what role the League plays.
- According to SimilarWeb, Statistics show a decline in site visits in recent months- which is alarming considering that it is an election year.
